1 Habit 1 Life
The Fish Story!

Once upon a time, there were two young fish called Tomi and Yomi, swimming together in the ocean, and they happened to meet an older fish swimming. The older fish was swimming towards them from the opposite direction. When he gets close to them, he nods at them and says,
“Morning, boys. How’s the water?”
And the two young fish simply smile in response and swim on for a bit, and then, eventually, one of them, Yomi, looks over at the other, Tomi, and goes,
“What exactly is water?”
Tomi looks at Yomi for a while, confused at Yomi’s question.
THE END.
The Water = Habits
Are you Tomi or Yomi?
The water represents the habits, the choices you make without thinking. The invisible decisions that surround us every day that we make subconsciously out of routine and never think about. They become visible again when we look at them through the lens of revision.
This story explains how it is possible for anyone to live with healthy or good or bad habits and not have any idea about them. This does affect you in the long run, either positively or negatively, depending on the habits you’re practicing.
If you believe, you can change yourself for the better and make better choices—if you make it a habit, the change becomes real.

Key Take Away Lessons
- This is the power of your choices. Like a potter moulding clay, you shape and design your life with the choices you make. Habits are the tools you are using during this process. The habits you choose, whether; healthy, good or bad are instruments you are using during the process. Choose wisely because clay often looks like the instruments used to shape it.
- Your choices are also a predeterminate of how long you live.
- Every choice has a consequence, every consequence has a price, and every price has a cost that needs to be paid.
